Where To Start

A natural progression.
Not a menu.

Most engagements follow a natural sequence. Start by seeing what's happening, understand why, then fix it. Each step builds on the last.

Step 1 — See It
Waste Walk

Walk the floor. See where time, material, and effort are being lost. Understand what's actually happening before you decide what to change.

Step 2 — Understand It
Process Mapping

Map the current process end to end. Find the bottlenecks, the handoff failures, and the steps that add cost without adding value.

Step 3 — Fix It
5S Workshop

Build the foundations of an organized, visual workplace. A practical working session that leaves the team with an environment that supports performance.

Every improvement starts with understanding what's actually happening. Not what you think is happening.

All available engagements.

All engagements are delivered on-site across Middle Tennessee and beyond — Nashville, Franklin, Murfreesboro, Chattanooga, Memphis, and Huntsville AL. Travel billed separately.

01
Waste Walk

A guided walkthrough of your facility identifying where time, material, and effort are being lost. You'll see your operation through a fresh lens — and leave with a clear picture of where to focus improvement efforts.

Half Day $1,800 – $2,000

Best when: you know something's wrong but aren't sure where to look

02
Process Mapping Session

A structured session that maps your current process end to end — identifying bottlenecks, handoff failures, and steps that add cost without adding value. Tangible output you can act on immediately.

Half Day $1,800 – $2,000

Best when: you know where the problem is, but not why

03
5S Workshop

A practical, hands-on session that builds the foundations of an organized, visual workplace. Not a lecture — a working session that leaves the team with an environment that supports performance and makes problems visible.

Half or Full Day $2,000 – $3,000

Best when: the environment is getting in the way of the work

04
Problem Solving Workshop

A focused session using A3 thinking and root cause analysis to work through a specific operational problem. Structured, practical, and designed to build problem-solving capability in the team — not just solve the immediate issue.

Half or Full Day $2,000 – $3,000

Best when: the same problems keep coming back

05
Leader Standard Work Session

A structured session helping supervisors and managers build the daily routines that sustain improvement. Because what leaders do consistently determines whether improvement sticks or slowly disappears after the consultant leaves.

Half Day $1,800 – $2,000

Best when: improvements aren't sticking after initial implementation

06
Project Review & Diagnostic

A focused diagnostic of a stalled or underperforming improvement initiative — identifying the real blockers, not just the surface ones. Includes a clear-eyed written summary of findings and a prioritised path forward.

Full Day + Written Summary $3,500 – $5,000

Best when: an initiative has lost momentum and nobody is sure why

07
Advisory

Ongoing advisory support for a CI lead, operations manager, or senior leader working through a specific challenge. A monthly thinking partnership — not a retainer, not a project. One honest conversation per month that helps you see the situation clearly and make better decisions.

1 Session/Month via Zoom $1,000 – $1,500 /month

Best when: you need a thinking partner with field experience

Travel: All on-site engagements include travel to your facility. Travel is billed separately at the IRS standard mileage rate plus any accommodation and expenses — quoted upfront in your proposal, no surprises.
The Right Fit

Engagements work best when
the conditions are right.

Selective engagements mean the work gets the attention it deserves. Here's an honest guide to whether this is the right fit.

Good fit
  • You already understand Lean — you're not looking for someone to teach you the basics from scratch
  • You're dealing with the human side: resistance, disengagement, or improvement that isn't sticking
  • Leadership is genuinely committed — not just saying the right things
  • You want honest assessment, not reassurance
  • You're in a complex operational environment — manufacturing, logistics, mining, engineering, healthcare, or similar
Not the right fit
  • You're looking for certification or methodology training only
  • Leadership isn't behind it — improvement work without genuine commitment doesn't stick
  • You want guaranteed outcomes and a polished case study at the end
  • You're not ready to look honestly at what's getting in the way
From the Field
